Astana Mining & Metallurgy Congress to discuss modernization of mining companies and FIID results
Modernization of mining companies in Kazakhstan under the program "Productivity 2020" as well as the results of the state program of forced industrial innovative development (FIID) will be discussed at the International Congress "Astana Mining & Metallurgy", according to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
The Congress will focus on topics such as: modernization of mining companies under "Productivity 2020" Program, preparing specialists for the mining industry, energy efficiency and safe mining worldwide. It is also planned to announce the results of implementation of the state program of forced industrial innovative development of Kazakhstan.
The concept of the international mining and metallurgical congress is to consider all matters relating to the complete cycle of production processes from exploration, ore mining, beneficiation and processing to manufacturing high-tech products.
In addition, it is scheduled to hold the 95th meeting of the international organizing committee of the World Mining Congress on the occasion of holding the 25th WMC in 2018 in Astana.
"The main mission of the Congress has always been the opportunity to demonstrate the latest achievements in the industry, exchange experience, introduce advanced innovative technologies and open new horizons of cooperation between foreign and domestic companies," First Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies Albert Rau says.
The 5th Anniversary International Congress "Astana Mining & Metallurgy" is expected to take place on 12-13 June 2014 at the Palace of Independence in Astana.
