Salaries of Kazakhmys employees to increase again

Kazakhmys manages production facilities leading to the extraction of ore and its processing into commodity metal. In 2018, 238.858 thousand tonnes of cathode equivalent copper and 3,112 kg of gold bullion were produced. This is higher than last year by 862 kg or 38.3%.
Kazakhmys is one of the largest silver producers in the world. In 2018, 242.0 tonnes of refined silver was produced. The corporation has internal power plants that provide enterprises and regions with electricity. The total number of employees in the corporation is about 38,671 people.
