About the Mining and Metals Industry in Kazakhstan:
- Economic Contribution: The mining and metals industry accounts for 12.6% of the country's GDP
- Investments: In the first 10 months of 2024, mining and metals companies invested approximately 1.1 trillion tenge in industry development
- Production Performance: From January to October 2024, the output of the mining and metals industry reached 11.3 trillion tenge, surpassing the figure for the same period in 2023 (9.8 trillion tenge)
- Share in Industrial Production: The mining and metals industry's share in Kazakhstan's total industrial production increased from 25.6% to nearly 28% in 2024
