EKG-20 excavator of Uralmashzavod starts its work in Kazakhstan
The flagship EKG-20 excavator manufactured by Uralmashzavod has started its work in the coal mining company of Kazakhstan, Bogatyr Komir. This was reported by the press service of Uralmashzavod.
Bogatyr Komir CEO, Mykola Korsakov, said that the company expects to increase the amount of stripping work after the launch of the excavator. According to him, the decision on further replenishment of the park with excavators will be taken a year after the operation.
"The EKG-20 produced by Uralmashzavod was not only the first excavator of this class for Bogatyr, but also the first 20-cube machine delivered abroad. Our plans are to increase sales of this excavator model in the market of Kazakhstan," Andrey Ganin, Commercial Director of Uralmashzavod -Cartex Management Company, said. He added that the company plans to create conditions for maintenance of equipment in Kazakhstan.
